At Grace United Methodist Church, there are many ways to volunteer and to give to others. The committees listed below are just some of the ways a person can be involved. If you are interested in joining a committee or would like additional information, please contact the chair person.

Christian Education: This committee offers opportunities for persons to seek to know God and to discover ways to live as Christian disciples. This is done through a variety of teaching and learning experiences that addresses the comprehensive needs of children and youth, families, adults, and others. The chair person is Julie Rolando. The superintendent of Sunday School is Janie DeVore.

Evangelism: The evangelism committee was created to promote the work of sharing our faith in Christ with our world. Our purpose is to give followers of Christ the tools to live out the mission statement of Grace United Methodist Church- To be led by the Spirit to glorify God by bringing others to Christ. The chair person is Marc Strand.

Finance: Giving reflects spiritual commitment to Jesus Christ. The finance system is the process of managing and funding the church so that the missions and visions of the congregation can be achieved. The chair person is Karen Swain.

Missions: Mission programs are the foundation for spreading the good news of Jesus Christ through serving others. This committee offers opportunities to serve through a variety of service projects and missionary programs. The chairs are Denny and Judy Shaver.

Outreach and Fellowship: This committee continues with the traditions of serving others on a more local level. It offers ways for the congregation to participate in activities and events together. It also serves as a vehicle to reach beyond the church walls to include our local community as well. The chairs are Denny and Judy Shaver.

Small Group: The mission of this committee is to promote a variety of learning experiences which support each participant on his or her spiritual journey. The Spiritual Formation Director is Toni Lucas. For additional information

Staff/Parish: This committee maintains, for the congregation, amiable working relationships with pastors and other staff. The chair person is Tom Stevenson.

Trustees: This is a group of dedicated individuals who work closely with the church council. The trustees manage church property, equipment, and investments so that the ministries of the congregation can be effective. The chair person is Steve Lewis.

Worship: Christian worship is for everyone who longs for God - believers and seekers. This committee organizes opportunities for worship that will help the congregation experience its relationship with God and will help it live more faithfully as a Christian community. The chair person is Connie Brooks.
